Description
An etched pictorial bookplate on light sepia paper with black ink, commissioned for Robert Legge, the director of the UC Cowell Hospital, and his wife Rene. The central image is a nature view of grass, bushes, rocks, trees, and a mountain in the distance. There's a staff with wings and two snakes coiled around on the right side. Framing the picture on both the left and right side is a vine with flower buds. Underneath is a shelf of books, the vase of the vines, and the names "Robert and Rene Legge" on the very bottom.
