An etched pictorial bookplate on sepia paper with black ink. In the center "Ex libris Franklin Porter Nutting Berkeley" is written. Surrounding it in the background are leaves and what seem to be small red berries in a wallpaper style. On the bottom are books and a lighted candle on both the left and right.
