A woodcut pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink for S. R. Phippard. There's a Greco-Roman style statue of a man's head. He is wearing a laurel wreath and a toga on one shoulder. In the far distance is a building with colonnades in the front. There's a phrase in Greek written along the statues head "MHΔEN AΓAN", "Nothing in Excess".
