Description
An engraved pictorial bookplate on light sepia paper with black ink. There's an open book with a man's portrait on the left page, the right page states "Recollections of a Minister to France 1869-1877 By EB Washburne, LLD New York". Surrounding the book are more books, flowers, calligraphic leaves, a banner. Collectively the banner says "Coeur content brand talent". Coeur is French and translates to "heart". The name on the bookplate is "Natala Washburne Bishop".
