Description

An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with blue ink. There's a view of a castle on a hilltop by the water. This image is framed with a calligraphic border. Above the image is the mythical creature, perhaps a griffin. There are four banners that collectively say in Welsh "Y Ddraig Goch A Ddyry Gychwyn", which tranlates to "The red dragon will initiate". Below the castle image is another image of a woman hammering paper and a little boy next to her sitting at a desk. Around this image are books with different titles on the spines. The bookplate says "Ex Libris Henry Blackwell", ex libris is used to identify the owner of the bookplate.
