An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink. There's an eagle with it's wings spread, looking to the left and holding two leaves in his mouth. In the background is foliage and calligraphic leaf border. The three banners collectively say in latin, "Inter Libros Quies" which translates to "rest between books". Below the eagle is an open book with a nature scene on the right page. The name on the bookplate is "Lucy Coleman Carnegie".
