Description

An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink. There's an image of a man's face framed to look like a coin, the name "Nathaniel H..." but the last name gets covered by leaves. There are books and a candlelight beside the image. A passage is below the books and objects, it says "'Still am I bufy bookes assembling, For to have plentie it is a pleasant thing' Barelay's "Ship of Fooles" 1509" On top of the bookplate are three banners collectively saying "Ex Libris Charles B. Foote" over some calligraphic leaves.
