Description
An engraved armorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink. There's a slanted crest with three trees. Surrounding the crest are calligraphic swirl pattern. Resting on the crest is a knight's helmet with a rooster standing on top of the helmet. There's a banner that says "carpe diem" which translates to "seize the day". The name on the bookplate is "Samuel Verplanck Hoffman".
