Charles Conover Kalbfleisch
An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink. This is a collage of multiple objects. The center piece is a sword. There are theater masks, books, a spinning globe, arrows, feathers, a harp, a balancing scale, an axe, and a paper roll. The empty space is filled with calligraphic leaf patterns. The banners collectively say "Ex libris Charles Conover Kalbfleisch", ex libris is used to identify the owner of the bookplate.
