Description

A pictorial/armorial bookplate on white paper with black ink for Charles J. and George Hoadley. There's a thick tree full of leaves and a boulder next to it. On the boulder is an eagle standing on a globe and under the eagle is a crest. The crest is divided into four sections. The top left is a phoenix and the bottom right are small spaced vertical lines. The top right and bottom left have a black dot pattern. There's a banner in front of the crest that says in Latin, "Veritas Et Patria" which translates to "Truth and Country".
