Description
A pictorial/armorial bookplate sepia tinted paper with black ink for John Thomas Lee. There's a man with a bow and arrow looking out at the sun setting on the water. There is an open book and two closed ones next to the man. There's a boat out on the ocean. In the sky is a map of the Gulf of Mexico and the Sea of Canada of North Sea. There's a crest at the top left that consists of Fleur de Lis, Griffins, and running figures. The border is a pattern of flowers and Fleur de Lis and a banner wrapping around the sides. There are six banners, each one has one name "Champlain. Hennepin. Lahontan. Columbus. Cabot. Cartier."
