Description

A pictorial bookplate on off white paper with black in for the Connecticut State Library. There's a portrait of an older man and written in the border is "Connecticut State Library. The collection of" and a signature from William F. J. Boardman underneath the portrait. Behind the portrait is a desk, books, a dresser, and the wallpaper pattern is the Library's crest image of the grape vine. Beneath the signature is a picture of a room with a podium, empty chairs and the walls are full bookshelves. This room is framed into a horizontal oval with one crest on each side. The left side's crest has three wolf heads on a stripe and stick figures filling the other stripes. The crest on the right has three eagles with their wings spread placed in a triangle pattern with an angled strip in the middle. Beneath the room image is a section to fill out information "Class. Book. Date. Accession NO." and the year 1913 is at the bottom of the border.
