A pictorial bookplate on white paper with black ink for Grant W. Johnston. "Ex-Libris" is used to show who the book owner is. There are two owls standing next to each other facing forward on a branch. On the ground in the background is a small farm and there is a crescent moon in the sky. In the bottom left corner of the bookplate is a small sketch of a church.
