Description

A pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink for The Wheeler School Alumnae Library. This bookplate is set up as a headstone with the name Mary Colman Wheeler and her portrait. Her dates are 1846-1920. Behind the picture is a bookshelf filled with books, two images of two similar houses one placed on the right and the other on the left. There is a location "Concord Paris Providence". On the bottom of the headstone is a theater mask, a painters tablet, and a script.
