A pictorial bookplate in black ink on white paper. Across the top and bottom of the paper are the words "Mills College Library/Albert M. Bender Collection". At the center of the frame is a circular frame with the words "All that mankind has done thought or been is lying as in magic preservation in the pages of books." In the middle are books, a quill pen, a globe, and a page with latin writing.
