Description
A memorial bookplate in black ink on off-white paper. The design features an ornate architectural frame with columns and decorative elements. At the top, the text reads “Mitchell Public Library Hillsdale Michigan.” Below this, there is an illustration of a stack of books flanked by laurel branches. Further down, the text reads “From the Bequest of Charles T. Mitchell.” The artist’s signature, “J.W. Spenceley, 1908,” is located at the bottom right of the bookplate.
