A pictorial bookplate in sepia ink on light sepia paper for Carl Ely Webb. A young boy is reading a book on a small ship that is on a small patch of water. The sails are tied up and the name "CARL ELY WEBB" is inscribed on the side of the boat. Written in a white box at the bottom of the waves is "HIS BOOK". There is an owl sitting on a book on the other side of the boat, holding an oar in the water.
