California Regulatory Law Reporter

The California Regulatory Law Reporter is published by the Consumer Protection Policy Center (CPPC), part of the University of San Diego School of Law's Centers for Public Interest Law (CPIL). Since 1980, CPIL has been a leading academic center for research, teaching, and advocacy in administrative and public interest law. CPPC shines a light on an extremely powerful—yet often overlooked—level of government: the state agencies that regulate business, professions, and trades. CPPC trains the next generation of public interest lawyers, advocates for consumers before the legislature, courts, and regulatory agencies, and works to make state government more visible and accountable. The Reporter is the centerpiece of that accountability mission — the only publication of its kind in the nation, and a trusted resource for legislators, courts, law firms, journalists, public interest organizations, and consumers for over 45 years.
