Excerpt from Message
Hello all – Yesterday we went up to Newry. Took train to Dundalk, bus from there. Had some difficulty finding Minnie – house on Castle Street torn down. Between snatches of information from neighbors and ingenuity of taxi driver we found her in a suburb living with her daughter Dilly – but home alone at time we found her. 87 years old and very bright, but quite deaf. Rich was the only one she could hear. Very small like all the others – much resemblance. We had to leave before Dilly came home so didn’t get to meet her. Minnie is about tell you more in a letter later. Took some pictures. Love Kathleen.
