Description / Abstract

This paper explores how using native plants and proper irrigation can lead to sustainable water management in Mediterranean climates, and reinterprets water scarcity as a supply chain issue. Touching on growing populations, climate change, and water pollution, it examines international case studies from Chile, Egypt, and Spain to compare domestic examples at multiple California universities.
