The inaugural Student Success Symposium will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 online via Zoom. The Symposium is free and open to all.

This year's theme "The Evolving Landscape of Student Success" examines how academic libraries are adapting to support student success within a rapidly changing higher education environment. It serves as a venue for librarians, faculty, student affairs professionals, administrators, staff, and students from SCELC member institutions, affiliates, and national and international institutions to share expertise, exchange ideas, and showcase collaborative strategies that enhance student learning, engagement, and support in higher education.

This year's keynote speakers are Dr. Tia Brown McNair, a nationally recognized leader on inclusive excellence, high-impact practices, student readiness, equity in student outcomes, and campus climate who will deliver the opening keynote. Our closing keynote speaker is Lee Rainie, Director of Elon University's Imagining the Digital Future Center, where he leads research on the human impact of accelerating digital transformation.

This inaugural symposium is organized by the University of San Diego Copley Library and funded by the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC).
