The Woolsack | Law Student Publications

The Woolsack is the University of San Diego School of Law's first law student newspaper. Volume one, Issue 1 was published on September 10, 1963. The Woolsack was meant to publish four times yearly during the Fall and Spring semesters by the Student Bar Association of the University of San Diego School of Law. The inaugural issue's editorial staff explain that "only two criteria will be applied by the staff in selecting articles for this paper; i.e. they must be of interest to members of and aspirants to the legal profession and they must also be non-libelous, since publication fund cannot support a large, adverse judgment tort."
