A pictorial bookplate on light sepia paper with black ink, in memoriam of Emilie Doerne Strickler. There is a shape that is composed of four half circles that outlines the illustrations. In the middle is an open book with vines of leaves that sprout from the left, right, and bottom of the book. Above the book is an oil lamp. Filling in the empty space between the shape and the thick circle border are calligraphic leaves.
