Description
A pictorial bookplate in sepia ink on sepia-tinted paper. The design features a detailed illustration of a fish at the top center, surrounded by leaves and flowers. Below the fish, there is an open book and a pair of hunting rifles with a target. Fishing rods, a net, and a mounted duck with are also depicted. The banner reads “EX LIBRIS” on the left side, with the name “EUGENE P. HOLMES” prominently displayed across the center. The artist’s name “Oscar T. Blackburn 1912” is inscribed at the bottom right of the design.
