Description

An armorial bookplate on light sepia paper with black ink for Oliver Gromwell Wyman. "Ex-Libris" is used to show who the book owner is. The Wyman family crest is in the main illustration. Above the crest is a knight's helmet and on top of it is a rooster. Beneath the crest are ribbon banners in Latin that say "Audax et vigilans" which translates to "Bold and vigilant." There are books leaning against the left and right side of the crest. In the black background of the bookplate are calligraphic leaves.
