Description
A pictorial bookplate in black ink on sepia-tinted paper. The design features a detailed illustration of a scholar seated at a desk, surrounded by books and drafting instruments. The circular central image is bordered by the text, "A writing "ghost" has often been, some famous man's "lifesaver" he also serves, unheard, unseen, Behold the "ghost" engraver!!" Above the main illustration is a banner reading “WORKING LIBRARY.” Below the illustration, the name “Oscar Taylor Blackburn” is prominently displayed in a decorative frame.
