A pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink for the "working library" of Oscar Taylor Blackburn. The center image is of a man writing on paper using a medieval writing desk. Bordering the image is an arch with a quote "A writing "ghost" has often been, some famous man's "lifesaver" he also serves, unheard, unseen, Behold the "ghost" engraver!!" At the bottom of the border there are drawings of different medieval writing tools and books.
