Description
An armorial bookplate in black ink on sepia-tinted paper. The design features a prominent heraldic shield with a knight’s helmet above it, surrounded by ornate floral and foliate decorations. The shield includes symbols such as crossed swords and a coiled snake. Above the shield, the Greek letters for Sigma Nu are displayed in a circular emblem. Beneath the shield, a banner bears the Greek letters “ΣΝΕΤΤ.” The lower part of the bookplate displays the text “GAMMA TAU CHAPTER SIGMA NU FRATERNITY UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA” within a decorative frame. “WELD. MPLS.” is inscribed at the bottom of the design.
