Description
Etched bookplate on light purple paper, in dark purple ink, made for Elizabeth Diamond. It was inspired by an illustration by John Flaxman for The Siege of Troy and the Wanderings of Ulysses by Charles Henry Hanson (T Nelson, 1883). On the bottom left corner is written "Seb Sc Christmas 1945". Verso "After John Flaxman, for mythological books."
