Description
An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink for Henry Sherburne Rowe. There's a bookshelf surrounded by calligraphic border patterns with four images intertwined. Going from left to right one image is of two flags, one is a crest of the Grolier Club, one is a Society crest, and the last one is a hand using a tool with a banner saying "labore et constantia" in latin (Hard work and perserverance). There's an image of a fish wrapped around an anchor with "AL DVS" in romanian (your).
