Description
An engraved armorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with red ink for John Skelton Williams. There is a crest with four stars, with holes in the middle, in the form of a cross. There's a knight's helmet on top of the crest and a Griffin head sitting on top of the helmet. The crest is surrounded by calligraphic leaf patterns and banners. Collectively the banners say "Nil admirari fari qvae sentiat" in Latin (He should not feel that he should be surprised at all).
