Description
A pictorial bookplate in black ink on light sepia tinted paper for Mrs. Armand Schmoll Jr.. "Ex-Libris" is used to show who the book owner is. There is a man kneeling on one knee with his hand under his chin right next to a fire. He is holding a piece of scroll paper and there are two more floating above his hand. The flames from the fire surround him but does not burn him.
