Description
A pictorial bookplate in black ink on white paper for the Bangor Public Library. The central feature is a hexagonal framed portrait of "COL. LUTHER H. PEIRCE." Behind the portrait, there's an American flag partially draped and various leaves. Below the portrait, a scroll and a quill rest upon a flat surface. "FROM THE COL. LUTHER H. PEIRCE FUND" is written beneath, with the library's establishment year "A.D. 1883" at the top.
