Description
A pictorial bookplate in black ink on white paper. It presents a framed central section stating "FROM THE FUND IN MEMORY OF THE TWENTIETH MASSACHUSETTS REGIMENT OF VOLUNTEER INFANTRY MDCCCLXI-V" with a decorative border featuring ropes and a wreath. At the bottom, a banner reads "BOOKS ON MILITARY HISTORY AND THE ART OF WAR". The top of the frame showcases the Harvard College Library seal with "VERITAS" on a ribbon, flanked by two laurel branches, above an eagle with outstretched wings, perched above crossed swords.
