Description

A pictorial bookplate in black ink on white paper. An angel with wings and a star halo is drawing at a desk. On the desk there is a vase with flowers, an ink pot, and a palette. Above the illustration "Clara & Atwood Fitts" is written. Below the desk "Sancta Francesca" is written and below that "Romana ora pro nobis" is written, which translates to "the Roman coast for us." At the bottom of the illustration there is a candle on the right and left side that is connected by a garland of flowers. There is a candlestick rotary telephone base on the left side of the illustration and the cord is leading down to the bottom right of the illustration where the talking piece is.
