Interior, Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge, PA. The interior of the chapel is ornate. With thoroughness it tells the story of the creation, rise and progress of the American Nation, in fabric, furnishings and records of heroic self-sacrifice. Imbedded in the altar is the Sheffield silver name plate from the outer case of Washington's original coffin.
