Franciscan Monastery, Washington, D.C. Annunciation Grotto – The Grotto of Nazareth is a copy of the place where the Message of the Incarnation of Christ was made known to the Blessed Virgin Mary by the Angel. That Sacred Place in Palestine was the home of Jesus after the return from Egypt.
