Old Faithful Geyser, Yellowstone National Park – Old Faithful Geyser erupts every 66.3 minutes on the average, to heights of from 116 to 171 feet, for a period of four minutes. This is the most celebrated picture of this famous geyser, which was named in 1870 by General Henry D. Washburn.
