Mission Dolores, Founded 1776, San Francisco, Calif. Mission Dolores – Located in the heart of San Francisco, at 16th and Dolores Streets, the venerable old Mission stands today as a reminder of the days of the padres. Relics in the mission are interesting, as is the ancient burial ground adjoining.
