Kinkaku-Ji (A Golden Temple) – National Treasure – The temple had been a villa of a dictator Yoshimitsu Ashiraga [sic] (1358-1408) but this beautiful gorgeous golden three storied building was burnt out in 1950. In October, 1955 the temple was rebuilt modeling the original. The temple has also been called "Roku-en-Ji (Dear Garden Temple)."
