Lake Shojin [sic] in Spring. Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Lake Shojin [sic], one of the famous five lakes around Mt. Fuji is in Yamanashi-Pref., facing south to the field Aoki-Ga-Hara and three other directions are covered with mountains. The goods around the lake is like a jungle with many kinds of birds and wild animals such as bears and doars [sic]; so that it is called the "Innermost Shrine." Arround [sic] the lake people clowd [sic] for skating in winter and for camping in summer.
