Caption
Eisenach. The Wartburg (1290 feet above sea level was founded by "Lewis the Springer" in 1070. It was formerly occupied by the Landgraves of Thuringin and is still the occasional residence of the Grand Duke of Weimar. The interior contains many objects of interest.
