Houses of Parliament and Westminster Bridge, London. Houses of Parliament. – Finely situated on the banks of the Thames the Houses of Parliament make a superb picture as seen from the river. The Victoria Tower on the left rises to a height of four hundred feet. The Clock Tower on the right contains the world famous "Big Ben" whose sonorous notes may be heard daily by all "listeners" the world over.
