Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument San Simeon, California, on Coast Highway 1 between Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur and San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay Castle Grounds viewed from Chinese Hill Within the 123 acres at the crest of the Enchanted Hill nestle magnificient gardens, pools, fountains, walks and statuary. The terraces and drveways are lined citrus pomegranates, oleanders, acacia, eucalyptus, palms and Italian Cypress trees.
