Abstract
The purpose of this study is to build meaningful relationships with the new members which would strengthen the community within Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at University of San Diego (USD). My research question is: ‘How can I as a student affairs professional support the development of stronger relationships with new members involved in Fraternity and Sorority Life in building community at USD?’ Through this research, I hope to gain a better understanding of how I can contribute to building stronger relationships between different groups of students at USD. Furthermore, I hope to learn how these strengthened relationships impact building community within an organization, and also how it may improve my relationship with the organization and the students I work with.
