Abstract
ADHD students are undoubtedly in need of extra assistance throughout their collegiate experience. The University of San Diego has the unique position of offering a minor, Masters, and PhD in Leadership Studies, yet there is no existing connection between the Leadership Studies department and the Disability Services Department. The creation of a facilitated leadership program designed specifically for students with ADHD would be meeting a gap that exists within not only the disability services, but within the leadership department itself. Current Masters in Leadership Studies students craved further facilitation training and did so by creating their own workshop class. By combining these existing gaps, two groups benefit exponentially, while also putting USD on the map for colleges that accommodate the learning disabled.
