Abstract
The cataloging standard Resource Description and Access (RDA) has undergone changes to its content and the Toolkit as a result of the 3R Project (RDA Restructure and Redesign Project) and realignment with the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM). Workshop will provide a brief introduction of the Library Reference Model (LRM) and an overview of the newly redesigned and restructured RDA Toolkit for cataloging with RDA post-3R.

Luiz H. Mendes is the Cataloging Coordinator at California State University, Northridge, and an adjunct faculty in the UCLA Department of Information Studies where he teaches graduate courses on descriptive and subject cataloging. Luiz has given presentations and taught RDA workshops throughout California. He has been actively involved in several ALA ALCTS (now Core) cataloging and metadata committees, has served as president of the Southern California Technical Processes Group, and is the current chair of the California Library Association Technical Services Interest Group. He is the current book review editor for Cataloging & Classification Quarterly.
