Description
A memorial bookplate in black ink on off-white paper. The design features an ornate frame with intricate architectural and floral elements. At the top center, the Harvard College emblem, including the word “Veritas” within an open book, is prominently displayed. The text in the center reads: “Library of the Department of Architecture Harvard University Nelson Robinson Fund.” Below this, it continues: “In Memory of Nelson Robinson Jr.” The outer border of the bookplate is richly decorated with various architectural motifs, including columns, vases, and garlands. The artist’s signature, “J.W. Spenceley Sc. 1906,” is located at the bottom center, and the inscription “Gift of the Graduates’ Club” is at the bottom left.
